UK Any ideas how I can add a dimmer to these lights?

I’m a new spark and not come across this before. There is a hallway, 3 switches for the lights. One each end and one in the middle. Not the standard 2-way and intermediate switching I expected but client would like a dimmer fitted. All switches work and there’s definitely no other switches. Any ideas?

They are all intermediate switches.
I don't think you can get dimmer switches which are intermediate switches. (There are intermediate dimmer "modules" but they are just an intermediate mechanical switch in a dimmer 'body')

You could put a single dimmer at the switch position in the last photo. There appears to be a neutral there, so could put a Quinetic (or other brand) dimmer switch/receiver, and then Quinetic (or other!) rf switches stuck elsewhere!
Or rewire it for one master and two slave dimmer switches

Really appreciate your reply, all makes sense. I only need the 1 dimmer but it’s at the opposite end to that last photo. Think I will recommend rewiring the switches to be the easiest option as there are still renovation works ongoing in this area and floors coming up upstairs.

You could convert the remaining 2 switches to conventional 2way as you have the reds of the 3c+e going to each switch point by adapting and eliminating the intermediate switches and top link shown in Avo's drawing and fitting a 2way switch and 2way dimmer.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a circular intermediate switch configuration like that in the wild. Was always taught 2x 2 ways and as many intermediates as was required.
Learn something new every day.

But as explained above, there’s a solution as you’ve got all the cables you need in the box’s.

I suppose with this, you can place the dimmer at whatever switch location is most convenient.
