I have a 10m length to light up, this will be a skylight.

A few questions..

Any recommendations for a good quality tape that is suitable for 10m? There is a huge amount of choice on the net but lots of poor quality products.

What is the best way to wire this up with regards series and parallel?

Does wiring in parallel aid with decreasing VD?

Would 12V be acceptable for a 10m length?

LED strips should be wired in parallel.

For 10m I would advise using 2x 5m strips to avoid volt drop issues whatever voltage strip you use, or if you do use a single 10m length then feed it at both ends (from the same PSU)

I've heard good things about the quality of ArcLED Light Tape Strip Suppliers | Bespoke LED Lighting Solutions UK - https://arc-led.co.uk/

I was going to try them for lighting up a kitchen breakfast bar but it's a customer led part DIY extension and kitchen fit, so that bit will maybe be in the new year the pace things are going.
Thanks for the link Andy. I have given them a ring and they have already given me a quote which i am happy with. It's £120 cheaper than the same spec quote from LED lights - https://www.instyleled.co.uk/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA-4nuBRCnARIsAHwyuPqM5Q6FS9l1QwWdNufjEo4xHdOoaX8ky5wjoh8bTVrJkFSCY0a4uycaAjoAEALw_wcB
who I didn't feel that comfortable chatting with.
If I do go with ArcLed I'll let you know how good the overall service was and also the product.

Cheers. They seem to get good reviews and recommended a lot on other nameless electrician based internet platforms. As I say no direct experience myself.
