Hello All

My query is about installation reference methods.

Specifically how to choose a reference method where twin and earth cable passes through various conditions when none of the methods seem to fit actual site conditions.

Site conditions are domestic situations where I find myself working in new builds to farmhouses and homes over a 100 years old.

Cheers All who reply.

Whatever the different situations are you should be selecting the most onerous for design purposes.

Can you describe the situations ?

Reference method is just a guide. It does not cover every conceivable condition. For that you have to use your judgement and do the working out yourself.
