Discuss Are all cards-in jobs now basically slave labour? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

A mate of mine is the main electrician cards for a leisure company that has a bunch of gyms, pools, sports halls etc
He is cards in on £18,000 (he even uses his own car to get from job to job and just claims mileage)

Been with them since he was 17 he is my age 43

He is a good sparks who I have used to help me do some rewires years ago

I keep telling him he is a mug and could earn 3 times that out on his own in the domestic market

but he has some weird bling loyalty to the company which i will never understand
I assume he spends half the week twiddling his thumbs and the other half sitting about drinking tea
