Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience whatsoever of working on/building of, modular pods?

If so, can you share your experiences of them please? Any advice whatsoever would be appreciated people.

Hi Bane

Are these the over-glorified portakabin pods or the small room pods like they fit as bathrooms in Holiday Inn express.

Tony

Well, this is the thing, I've not received full details yet so Googled them last night and there's been PRISONS made from this stuff!
(I'll post the weblink shortly)

But from what I was told, "You'll be building modular pods and installing conduit for transfer to the site (newbuilds)"

So, "bathrooms in Holiday Express" type???

Thanks for response Tony.

hotel pods, kitchen pods, apartment pods, modular home, kit house

Having had a quick look it seems that the pods are made using a metal frame work. This is similar to the Holiday Inn framework only they are made in Germany. They tend to use singles run in plastic conduit with the cable ends accessible from underneath and at the side (so that one unit can be used on any floor of the hotel) through flexicon.

Would think it is something similar but if for prisons likely to use metal conduit.

Hmmmm. When I said about prisons, I was just saying that contracts have beeen awarded for prisons built in this format.

This job I MAY be offered is for new builds.

*Fingers crossed*

modular pods shouldnt be a problem ,did some telecommunications cabins once .
