Being raised in a RH world means I can do a fair imitation of being RH, but I can't use those special LH scissors at all.

This is true - when I worked at the local Council a lady who was in charge of the call centre and on a very good salary asked if she could borrow a screwdriver. I said I only had left-handed ones so she declined as she was right handed !!

Is that why we now have non combustible consumer units because of all them loose terminals??
