Super Sparks

Afternoon all,

Long time lurker here, came across this extractor fan the other day in a flat, approx 1980's built, no labels on it or anything.

Trying to source a replacement as it is no longer working, however damned if I know where to find one.

Wondered if anyone else has come across one of these before? I'm probably going to have to butcher it and install something else however worth a try!

Cheers in advance.

It would be worth trying a replacement capacitor if there is one and maybe test the thermal overload which may be internal in the motor. Maybe also try brushing out the housing in case it's just clogged with debris.

It looks like quite a capable little forward curved centrif so if you do look for a replacement I wouldn't skimp on the spec.

yeah worth taking it out, dismantle, clean, swap the capacitor/motor brushes and it will work for next 20 years.
