I have a svq level 3 in electrical maintenance but wanting to get on jobs that require an electrical installation qualification. Is there a way of transferring over the qualification or doing extra courses to get it?

Speak to The SJIB or SECTT about the CEC course it might just be what your looking for. You should be able to find this on the SJIB, SECTT and The SELECT websites.
Alternatively if CEC isn't the right thing for you the SJIB are the ones who grade Installation electricians so they can tell you exactly what's required.
