Hello

Im changing my socket ,so red goes in L black in N , but why new socket has 2x holes for green ?
Does it matter which hole they go? Left or
Right side ?

you can put both in either or one in each. the point of having 2 E terminals is when a hi-integrity earthing is required, e.g. with circuits supplying IT equipment. I'd put both into either terminal. give all wires a tug after fitting, make sure all are tight, have a brew, then recheck tightness, might get another 1/4 turn.
 
What are the 2-3 lighter coloured parallel lines going around the grey outer sheath on the left hand cable where it comes through the metal back box?

Is it some kind of metal conduit?

And yep, Tels advice is spot on.

Also just noticed that one of the lives looks to have a little nick in it.
