Hi all,

I’ve searched the threads but have not been able to find the relevant answer needed so please accept my apologies if my first post is something that has been asked many times.

I have a set of 3 spotlights on my first floor, of which all run from a transformer. I want to turn one of them that is at the top of the stairs into a hanging pendant light. I’ve pulled the spot out and it has a brown and a blue electrical lead going into the breaker, and threads down to the spot. Can I use the blue and the brown leads to attach to the pendant or do I need more power? The transformer comes from the mains power and I believe downgrades the ampage to the required amount the spots need.

TL;DR
Changing spot into pendant, keeping other spots active.
What do you mean the brown and blue electrical lead going in to the breaker.
A few pics would be helpful.
