citb-essential electrics program

hi all, does anyone know what the citb-essential electrics program is?is it a recognised qualification?sorry if its a daft question.cheers

Its based on The CITB Essential Electrics book (Code E14 on the CITB website)

This is a basic text book used by people starting off. The qual is not really recognised by anybody, but the book is ok as a study guide. The book is twenty quid

hi bane and shakey ,cheers for your replies.it was included in a course package i saw and i wasnt sure what it was.the package was just under 6000
