City & Guilds 2394 Exam Questions; Re: Multiple Choice

HI ,

Ive recently taken the 2394 Initial verification and will have to resit the multple choice and written exam. I revised quite hard for both exams and also brought exam questions online which cam in the form of and exam simulator , one from Electrical Exams and the other was from LEC soft . When it came to the exam the questions were worded very diffecently and I had to read the questions 4/5 times before answering them. I know that this is a level 3 exam , but the questions were wordred and made difficult to understand.

I have taken the multple choice exam twice now..
The pass mark for the multiple choice was 75% and I got 72.9 % the first time and 69.9 % the seconfd time around !! over the five sections.

I would like to know if anyone has any information on help I can get to help espcially with the multiple choice exam. As for written exam I have enough notes and also have teh Exam Success Inspection and testing 2391-01 book by IEE.

I would appreciate any help.

With regards to the multiple choice exam, you can easily get tripped up and become unstuck with the wording of questions and some seem to have more than one correct answer. I got 90% on this exam but nearly all my points dropped where questions on BS numbers of fuses and breakers. If I had of known these then I would have been heading for a gold star but never revised them as they are easily looked up. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can get one question asked three or four times that covers other aspects.
