Discuss Clearing up of threads - Note you'll get some PM's about this in the ElectriciansForums.net News and Updates area at ElectriciansForums.net

Wouldn't a announcement next time everyone comes online and has to acknowledge be better rather than clogging up in boxes?

Something has totally gone amiss as instead of getting PM you get an email saying some one has quoted your posting which is annoying me, one thing I cannot complain about is that since the site went ---- up when I can make a comment without letters disapppearing

That is the swear filter, always had it, always will have it. Nothing new there!

The e-mails for the new "reply with quote" notifications is something I'm looking into due to a few members not liking it.

as a sub note.... STOP BLOODY SHOUTING ABOUT IT. I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME!

If I try and put something in bold when I press the icon this happens in the pic below, it's only happend since the site went offline.

I also want the pop up/down (what ever you want to call it) switched off.
Now, let me get this straight. Before I comment I will happily hold my hands up to being one of the worst culprits (alang wi me Fatha)for hijacking threads where the OP has done a runner and taking it off topic / and generally having a laugh at someone else's expense. (It's usually repaid in spades by the lads so, karma) However, normal conversation rarely stays on the one topic for long. It evolves and grows as people join the conversation or raise a relevant point but what you're saying is that that is no longer allowed?
