Hi guys and gals, I have a question about the leads to computers (commonly known as kettle leads).

I am new to PAT testing so please bear with me if this is a silly question.

I am aware that if a product has a particularly long lead then the result of the continuity test can come out larger than the requirements and that we can calculate this to ensure the reading is within the correct limits.

My question is whether I can do the same for a removable computer lead? My SEAWARD APOLLO 500+ PAT tester allows me to test the lead on its own, so if for example the 2m lead is 0.11Ohms and the computer (including the lead) is 0.14Ohms then this is ok?
