Do we have anyone good with computers on board? I have bt infinity and they supply a seperate modem and homehub, what I want to do is buy a wireless modem router like a netgear or belkin and have all in one unit, so do we know if this is possible and any recommendation? Cheers and merry Xmas!

surely the bt infinity modem is wireless, ain't it?

I've looked into this and its seemingly not feasible. I have the BT box connected to Infinity and a Belkin Wifi unit as the BT ones are crxp!

Should BT bring out one box for both I'd like to hear from lots of satisfied clients before I consolidated the two I have.

trust bt to get it wrong again.

If you want to eliminate having 2 piece of equipment the new router has have a VDSL2 Modem built in. The draytek 2850N is an example of one.

Isn't BT infinity their fiber optic service, a bit like Virgin Media cable?
Will a VDSL/ADSL router work with fiber optic?

BT infinity is FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) not the the Home they use your existing copper lines then to run it into your home.
