Hi Guys
Metrel uses a 4 pole plug/socket for all their test leads on MFTs. Anyone know who manufactures them. The test lead socket/plugs on my 10 year old Easitest are knackered but Metrel think it unlikely that they still stock the socket for that model. Apart from that it works perfectly and I'm loath to spend good beer money on a new MFT.
Cheers
Pete

guys if any of you buy an mft or anything that uses proprietary plugs always buy spares.

there is no telling when they will stop supplying them.

for example if got a few ide drives and spare ribbon cables etc, try finding a new motherboard that takes ribbon cables, you will struggle

If it's the whole thing that's fubar, then if it was me I'd be looking in RS to find something as close as possible in terms of dimensions and then just swap both sides out.
