Probably a silly question as I haven’t come across it yet.

On a 2 way switch I assume a dimmable lamp will work ok with 1 switch on a dimmer and the other on a normal light switch? So no dim when the normal light switch is pressed (just on/off) but when the dimmer switch is used the light will be dimmed?

Also assuming the same principle on an intermediate light circuit?

Yes, but not intermediate.
