Hi all. I have a customer, manager of a retirement home and he's having problems with the original heaters. The existing heating in the multi apartment building consists of Dimplex Duoheat storage heaters. They are starting to fail on a regular basis and the spare parts have been discontinued. The heaters are only 5 years old so black marks to Dimplex in my opinion. I am proposing to replace them with Dimplex XLE Heaters rather than the Dimplex Quantum range. The reason being, apart from cost, these premises don't require the "smart" controls and flexibility offered by the Quantum as they are on all day at the same times and temperature settings. Any thoughts out there?

Hi Jurassics wondering how you got on with this? Just came on to research the quantum's because I've been to my uncles flat and his has failed as well. Luckily the peak supply side works fine. The elements all test out fine for the off peak but the terminal block is all melted and it trips the breaker when it comes on at night so I think it's the circuit board.

I was going to price up to change that but seeing your post has made me think maybe we should replace the whole thing.

Best
