Doing a half marathon for charity

Hi Guys

Been really busy and first time on the site for a couple of days (nearly a week) I don't know how I did it.

How is everyone

I am doing a half marathon on 12th June who would be up for sponsoring me

The charity I am running for is a local one close to my heart - Cash for Kids

I will be setting up a Just Giving page shortly, just wondered who would be up for sponsoring me

and no I don't go running from jobs only when things go wrong and 50 odd yr old women come onto you ---- that is so another story but not one for the forum

the first one i did was after a 3am finish an i slipped off the dam ladder knee strapped up and a rubbish time but i did it and got a nice little medal too. i have just booked on for the one in may. how much is it to run yours? i might pop up and do that one too

no i didnt know that,
done the great north many times and the london marathon twice, stopped running a few years back now its coast to coast and the likes on the bike.

will make a donation later on - goods lucks

I’d better get this right, a gift to charity has to go through your company books. It has to be registered charity.

When I was working as a photographer it was amazing how many bottles of Champaign went thought the books, all tax deductible because it was supposedly given as a gift to the bride and groom.

A full case of Champers would be my donation to Cancer Research when we did an annual wedding show.

And if any you think I’m a cheapskate it was always Bollinger.

Thanks for your support and at the end of it I'm looking forward to drinking a can for every mile I ran and the last bit as is 13.1 mile I will make sure is the 14th can as you can't drink 0.1 of a can.
