It is indeed, I was planning on meeting up with a few people in Cov in September, but for a number of reasons I won't be now. Just seeing really. Does anyone make an event of it, maybe go out for a ruby and a pint or ten on the evening? It would just be good to put faces to a few names and northerners tend to be alot more sociable than southerners. Not many of us go to the southern events.

Well Elex in the morning saddling up the sheep and heading down the A55 when i get there the caffine levels will be below critical so ill be heading straight for a coffee , any one who wants to say can at their own risk ill be the grumpy looking guy with a red Polo shirt with my name on it ( just in case i forget who i am ) short beer belly glasses and a tash , that's if passport control will let me off the island ..

Well I got one and so did Phil D so may be you should have spent a bit longer there. The T shirt stand was not far from the bacon rolls

i crossed over the footbridge with all those concrete busts of roman emperors...to be confronted with a delightful water fountain....complete with nymphs with their funbags out.....

Same happened to me at Harrogate last year.

Phil D was sharing a hotel room with me so couldn’t really miss him. We only met up with one other of the lads.

PS, never stay at the same hotel as Mr Boring, Tony C. Two days of him droning on in the bar with his gaggle of young groupies. You can’t escape him! He was spending your money like water. I was ready to slit my (his) throat.
Wonder if he had a bacon sandwich in the hotel, they were a bargain at £13-50.

I was there yesterday good day out bacon roll coffee , bought a few essentials and a CK Armour cutter no more hacksaws for me used it today cracking piece of kit few new rods and a gecko or how ever you spell it , didnt see any one then again dont know what any one looks like did have a breif chat to Billy from DIY sos mind well more like a hello lol
