Energy saving bulbs

Hi guy's

Had a call from a friend. His house has a lighting circuit :bulb2:- passage (1G2W) & living room (1G1W) - the passage is first from CU then continues to the living room. However, the passage light has a spur from the orginal light using 1.5 T&E from rose to rose. Now the additional light (Spured light) has a delay of almost a second when the switch is turned on, is this just due to both lights having enery saving bulbs or do I need to go over and have a look?

Try swopping the bulbs over to see if the problem still occurs on the same fitting.

As said try swapping the LAMPS. Could just be the CFL with the delay.

Hi guys,

I told him to change the lamps. He said that seems to have sorted it. Saved me a trip.

Always pays to start simple.
