Hello. I have a BT openreach master socket (new type with built in filter) and I want to extend the broadband about 3m away and hide the cable in the wall.
How can I connect the cable from the FILTERED part of the master socket as I do not want to use a filter at the new point? I want to use a basic IJ11 modular socket for the new router point.

Run a CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 plugs on each end.

Apparently the red AB socket on the rear of the faceplate is UNFILTERED

Correct. It is telephones which need the filtering, not the VDSL signal.

Don't think of it like a high/low pass filter, like you would find in a speaker system (tweeter/woofer), that's not how it works. The filters don't separate things into two distinct sets of signals.
