Are you going to do a 'review' on it?
Bung it on a dimmer switch and see how accurate the graph is.

will give it a try sometime soon. expect to see a funny waveform from a dimmer.

Like it :) Have you got the additional nipple-clips? ....we'd like to see your heart beat,in wave form...

ok, so this is the output waveform from a 400watt dimmer supplying a 60 watt load at approx, 75% full. and @darkwood. it's not a sticker. :(:(:(.

still playing with it. not worked it all out yet. obviously, not as accurate as a calibrated scope. can expand or reduce the timebase. more play tomorrow after i've fixed the oven, mown the lawn, sorted the dogs and ducks out etc., etc.

which model> i have a later model 8 and an avo megger digital thing, forget the model.

just a techybit for trainees.

the green is the input waveform as expected, and is passed straight through the dimmer when on non-dimmed. the red section is cut trailing edge as preferred by LEDs. it's so-called because the dimmer electronics cut the trailing edge, as opposed to the leading edge.
