Frequency responce analysis and bode plot function?

Hi everybody, this topic is about a function you are probably familiar with in the audio repair field
I need to use the fra frequency response analysis function for my repair application
Recently, I tried to test the siglent sds1104x-e oscilloscope with bode plot function, which also allows analysis of difference by amplitude and phase domains.

Have you used this feature yet? Is it the same as FRA? Please give me your comments, thanks

A quick look for the data sheet suggests it is essentially the same but uses an optional white Gaussian noise source module for the stimulus instead of a swept sine wave. Though it might be a sine was as that module can do other waveforms! Also only for the 4-channel model.

As for swept frequency response you have to be careful as not everything can run at near full power at the upper frequency range.

Is it the same as FRA?

Yes, in the sense that frequency response analysis is a general term for the technique and a Bode plot is one way of displaying the results of the analysis.
