Hager NB106 Mcb change to RCBO

Hi Guys


I'm not a Hager user so hence the question.

I've been asked to wire in lights and a fan etc for a bathroom for a mate of mine who's a bathroom installer, I've called at the house today to take a look so I can price the work, the existing consumer unit is a plastic board fitted out with NB range of breakers the board is nice and tidy inside and the install doesn't look that old so the customer isn't wanting to do a board change.

My question is do Hager do an RCBO that with straight swap the NB106 breaker there already same as the likes of Wylex etc if so do you have a model number?

As far as I'm aware, all Hager MCBs and single module RCBOs are compatible.

Thats the main reason I like Hager.

Hi so does that mean the Hagers are all the same profile and I can use any Hager RCBO to replace the NB106 breaker

Hager gear is pretty much all compatible and back compatible. I tend to use it as my go to range for this precise reason, they also have and will be around for a long time, don't think they have changed much in the 20 odd years I have been an electrician!
