Apparently half the downstairs works were on the left of the fuse box and half on the right sparky replace one of the fuses ( allegedly as I wasn’t in ) and decided not to use any of the left switches. everything is now powered from the right switches but he didn’t bother to relabel what’s what , so if in the future anything trips out I won’t be able to identify what’s what to eliminate? Is this corrrct or safe ? I’ve no idea where the shower or upstairs light or downstairs sockets are wired ? There were not 3 spare on the right ?IMG_6019.png

TL;DR
Sparky decided not to use any of right rides used only right switched. Now I can’t see what’s what. Is this legal or safe

It's an older MCG consumer unit and these are hard to get parts for.

These dual RCD units are problematic as one fault plunges half the home off

I would suggest a new RCBO consumer unit. This means a fault will trip only one device

I would also suggest Hager as the spare parts are easier to get

Safe: probably. Compliant with regs: No
Why has this been done? It's OK as a short term measure before a new CU is fitted.
