Help with storage heaters on eicr

Hello all, I have been asked to do a eicr on a property, as the client has asked to rectify any issues as I go along, I have come across a supply to some storage heaters running off a oldb3036 consumer unit. It is running off a 24 hour supply ie 4 terminal meter but within it has contactors. I need to change this board but how do I approach it and where do I start I ve posted some pics the contactors are within the consumer unit. Is there a consumer unit to replace it or something else I can purchase

So my initial thought would be to explore a new consumer unit with shortened bus bar that has enough ways to fit the contactors in.
What is triggering the contactors, is there a time clock somewhere?

Needs to be a consumer unit with a full DIN rail, not a half one.

Why do you need to change it?

I can see one reason. Exposed live parts on two of the fuses, where the sealant over the screws hs fallen out.

Thank you for your input, I'm assuming there's a clock somewhere that controls them. I did not really look as I have to go there again to finish off some more work tomorrow. Thank you for your reply

You can buy dual tariff boards you would just need 1 contactor to control the off peak side

No one before I did. OP would be more than a little miffed if he got on sight, opened up his new CU, and then found the rail wouldn't take a contactor.

I see, that makes sense! I was thinking of the length of din rail and thinking why would it be half the length but I get what you mean now - not the ones where there is only the top half of the rail. Sorry, being a bit dim tonight.

Its a metal enclosure but not IP rated as all the bungs are missing, the fuse carriers are 30amps ceramic. I d prefer not to change but I ll have to give it a c2 as there's access to live parts.

Also the cables 2.5mm on a 30amp fuse

Those two fuses are C1. The missing cover is C2.
Assuming the storage heaters are correctly sized so as not to overload the 2.5mm2 cable as it is installed, then the 30A fuse is only providing short circuit protection, so the 2.5mm2 is fine. No different than the 2.5 forming a spur off of a RFC.
