I have an existing Siemens wireless thermostat and receiver. I wish to replace with a Hive without hopefully having to replace, add or alter any wiring. The receiver has a live, neutral and a switch wire, the common would appear to be linked from the live. I am thinking that this would be a straight swop for the Hive without any additional wiring

Yes it should work fine, I am assuming that you have a combi boiler as all the hive will do is control your heating.
The hive receiver will replace your existing Siemens Wireless thermostat receiver.

Yes, it’s just for the heating control side of things, to allow remote access. I work shifts and the times I finish often are unpredictable so was thinking this would be ideal..thanks for your reply
