Hourly rate for Junior Sparky

Hello,

I live in Oxfordshire. Does anyone have an idea of hourly rate that can be expected for an electricians mate/ junior electrician when starting out.

I have C&G 2381, bldg regs, pat testing certificates.

I heard from another member that you could expect £8-10 per hour in Yorkshire, so if anyone can tell me the likely rate if you go a few hundred miles south that would be appreciated.

Yep, a pretty Mickey Mouse certificate , all said and done. would need to have head examined if all that existed were countless kettles to check .... Seriously what about the main question?, hourly rate?. I now shut up and wait.......

i'm in yorkshire and our lot don't get 8 squid

Depends on the company but jib rate is around £8.47 i think

£8 ph for Labourers.
£10 ph for Mates.

i usually only worry about what im getting paid if the snot nosed useless ........ cant sort their pay out they might as well hand what little tools they have in
im from a differrent part of west yorks
