Ikea under cabinet lighting....

Hello all..

I am wiring a new kitchen/extension. The customer is supplying the under cabinet lights, see link UTRUSTA LED worktop lighting w power supply White 40 cm - IKEA - https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/lighting/integrated-lighting/utrusta-led-worktop-lighting-w-power-supply-white-art-60245797/

It is impossible to talk to anyone from Ikea who knows anything so I'm asking you guys.

What does 'with power supply' mean on this product? Is it run from batteries? I wouldn't have thought so.
Has anyone fitted these before?

Did you see the link to the assembly instructions?
It looks like it is a linkable 230V under cabinet light.
Presumably you supply the 230V incomer and the "power supply" is integrated into the light fitting to run the LEDs, it looks like you can add other lights as well.

It has a power supply. Look at the description.

With Ikea there will be a seperate PSU with a cord that is far too short to be of any use, you will need to locate said PSU/PSU's somewhere that is accessible when it fails for an easy swap out.

Looks like there a panel on one end with neutral/live/earth block for you choice of cable to go though.

looks innovative. lights to see by, hooks to hang things on, and sockets for appliances. who needs these ugly grid switches or FCUs all over the place?
