Hi

My electrical background is Auto Electrics from decades ago - 230v electiics experience is very mucch DIY.

Willis type 3kw heater. Currently switched with a DPST Manual switch.
I am hopping to add a relay in parallel with the manual switch. Relay will be switched from a SONOF / eWeLink smart switch with 230v AC output.

Just double checking if there is anything I have missed regarding the spec / suitability of this DPDT relay?
I am OK with working out what coonnections to use and not use.

If any isues with this relay please sugest an alternative.

I would use a din rail dp contactor in an enclosure.

Yes - that looks like th ecorrect relay.

I am not mounting in the consumer unit but below the hot press where the hot tank is. I presume this DIN mount will allow me to mount it to the hot press structure - ??

As this will be passing 3kw, is the DIN rail important for heat dispersion?

Don't leave that loose. Mount it in a DIN rail enclosure. Bear in mind the hot press could also be moist.

No issue. Just checking in case I missed something. Better safe than sorry with 230v an 3kw!

Eg @Risteard warned me mount the DIN rail option and not leave it loose.
