I built a prototype Dog Dryer. Took a dryer element and pushed it into a vent pipe. Cut out vent pipe to access the two spade connectors on the heater element. Attached pipe to blower (range exhaust blower). The blower is wired independently to 120V plug. Heater wired from an unused NEMA 14-30 receptacle. Using 3 of the 4 wires. Red, Black White for ground. Does it work yes. Are the wiring terminals correct? I plan to extend the NEMA 14-30 to to wall below the dog Dryer. If this configuration won't kill me? I want to l wire the blower to the 240 circuit. Does that require The fourth conductor? Extension romex 3-10?
