you know what it like the dreaded mot ,need to take the van in for the mot .
I need to strip the thing ,just in case you dont pass ,one hour to strip ,throw every thing in the garage just in case the van does not come back on the same day ,I has taken me 3 hours just to put all the gear back after the mot ,
had a few jobs done to pass it ,you swear it doctor who's tradis.so boys and lady's what do you do when it comes round .

I have a small Peugeot bipper and it amazes me what i can fit inside. more so now its racked out. when i clear the floor out i always find something i forgot about or mislaid

Then you put it all back in with a good idea of keeping certain things together for efficiency and for the next week you can’t find a thing!
I always plead with the MOT guy that I need it back by the evening even if stuff needs doing.

The MOT/PSV system is totally different here. We have government run Test Centres that will test the vehicle, if it fails on anything you have to go somewhere else to get it repaired as all they do is test is. No garage or private company here can test the vehicle.

I trust my MOT centre so Tested, repaired and Mot’d in the same place saves a lot of time.

i have a 2004 Toyota Hiace. it's passed 4 MOTs in my ownership with only once had an advise. 214,000 miles on clock as of today. beat that, transit owners.

Ha! My Transit needs something every year....I know about them but don't fix them in case the MOT turns out to be truly fatal! Usual stuff like cracked screen or a bit of rust...if it passes this year It'll prob make it to 250k before next MOT due
