Hi Guys,

im after some advise. I'm currently completing a job where I have installed a vast amount of Jcc led7 Downlights. The client got trailing edge dimmers which I have found out are made by varilight. The have minimum wattage of 40 watts which in some rooms is causing the light to turn off as wattage is lower.

Im aware of zano controls which provide module but the client really likes the look of the switchs he has. Would putting a resistor in line work. Has anyone tried this and can you recommend the type of resistor in would need.

many thanks

Nick

Just swap the Zano modules into the existing faceplates, if there is enough room in the back.
I thought the zano ones had minimum wattage of 40W as well.
You might try a snubber (search for flickering LEDs on the forum) that may be enough load to operate them.
