Well, I was told that was the requirement at the time and may have been misinformed, but I still completed it and had it listed on my JIB card.
I recall there was a lot of confusion at the time about the courses, for example, City and Guilds kept changing the template in which to present the NVQ. I was given 4 different versions in the same academic year.

I did the AM2 as part of my Apprenticeship, and the certificate etc. was sent to the JIB, but it isn't listed on the back of the card. There's only certain qualifications which are listed. Are you sure AM2 is listed on your card?

Hmm, just checked and you are right, it's not on there. All that is listed is my NVQ3. Not looked at it (or renewed it) for years though.
