Haha...Biff, there are quite a few forum members who would like to do exactly that!

This is true , and they are entitled to that opinion Archy.
On the other hand i could request that the forum is open to only time-served , JIB registerd sparks , which would cut out about 90% of the members on here lol ;-D

and then, like the dinosaurs, the forum would be extinct and die......

Im not saying the advice is wrong Trev , im saying that giving that reply makes for a really dull forum.
And i'll leave you with 1 point to consider - to join a domestic installer scam you need the 17th edition qual - thats it as far as training goes
I really dont think its that big a step up from a diyer to be honest.
Biff you know I completely agree with you on the DI thing but sometimes a DIYer comes across as being able to do some electrical work but did this one suggest that to you. Yes without some DIYers it would be a dull forum

But it would get rid of the Electrical Trainee's and those remaining could consider themselves the elite :-D

Biff if thats the sort of forum you would like perhaps you should start your own, I believe this site is informative and very helpfull and the majority of posts are worthy of discussion. I understand the elite might find it a bit boring but no one forces you to read it or reply

I don't think for a second that that is what biff wants mate.
He's playing devil's advocate
