Hi all
i have just installed a row of high frequency lights including emergency fittings
i have wired them to a key switch from the board to the loop and to a switch and back to the live
rrom the loop I have put a link to the A terminal I think perm live
when I switch on all normal lights operate ok but emergency just shows power led on but lamps do not work
when I switch off normal lights off and emergency battery kicks in

any ideas
key switch kills supply completely

Edit: read that wrong!

Have you checked the wiring of the plug side of the gregs?

Might sound obvious but have you definatley plugged the battery's in, in the emergency's?

No not yet going to first thing in morning
sorry just re-read it.

so your saying the normal 6a light switch activates the emergency, i think you have the perm and swL swapped in the fitting

(led is to show there is a perm live there, it can be red if no power or off, depends on fittings)
