Thanks chaps, it seems the 7600 has been discontinued now. what does it do over the cheaper ones like Lee and Shanky posted!?

It takes tapes up to 24mm. You can save and print customised logos. It also has a full set of electrical symbols. It has a small mountain of printing options, really good for patch panels and DB's etc. It's also rechargable.

For a few quid less there is the PT7100, without the customised labels feature and not rechargable.

A lot will depend on how much you want to spend, I think Brother have a couple of new models out now, including one that can print from your smart phone.

I've had nothing but bother in the past with Dymo and the Dymo Rhino range. Also worth noting that a Brother Tape cassette is generally 8M long, Dymo just 5-5.5M, if comparing prices on tapes (as they can be blooming costly!)

I have the Brother PT-E550WVP, its the best thing around. Prints anything you could think of. Does company logo and details. Warning labels, cable wraps and flags. Board labels inc safety stickers. Connects to app on your phone or laptop wireless.

Best investment, currently on offer at yesss with a discount on 17th book also
