Leakage Clamp Meter Kyoritsu 2432 or Uni-T UT251

I am considering a leakage clamp meter for use at my house. I am connected to the grid and have a separate solar setup. I live in Thailand where electrical installations aren't perfect. I have the feeling that one of the issues is leakage. So to further analyse I am considering a leakage clamp meter.

I see 2 brands available here. The Kyoritsu and Uni-T. The price difference for a leakage meter is big. Uni-T is about 200 usd while the Kyoritsu is 500 USD.

Any suggestions?

You ought to be able to get an acceptable clamp meter for much less, provided you only need AC measurements. DC clamp meters do cost a lot more.

Note that many clamp meters don't offer low current ranges, check you can resolve down to 1mA or less if leakage is a concern.

I have indeed that leakage might be a concern and want to measure before installing things like rcbo. Here the options on leakage are bout the following:

• Uni-T / Sanwa 150
• Kyoritsu 350
• Hioki 430
• Fluke 800

I can get some cheaper but I have the feeling that they are maybe counterfeit.
