After some LED downlight recommendations, have been looking at Ansell Orbio 360 and Enlite E5/E5, like the look of the E5/E8

Any good or bad feedback, any other suggestions.

Need to be dimmable.

Thanks.

One should be accurately recording where one has located said down lights/cables negating the need to guess where the previously located cables were positioned :)

Also installed hundreds of Enlite E8s, no failures in service so far, and very easy to install. The latest batch had improved push-in connectors that didn't hurt thumb when pressing to open them.

Though did have one faulty out of the box with a N to E internal short (internal wire caught by sharp component solder point in the potted electronics).

The eco600 made by photonstar are the dogs dangly bits in my opinion, but the price is somewhat off-putting for the cheapskates and bodgers out there

I agree but when your dealing with overzealous dry liners who have a habit of wrapping cables around MF ceiling supports, pipes etc then sometimes you don't have much choice other than getting the apprentice to fish them out with his arm

One does , but one cannot account for the actions of the muck spreaders and their ability to move said cables or even worse trap them in between a joist and the plasterboard :rage:

I can't click Like, but get your drift. Excuses, excuses :)
