I have 2 separate LED Strips as pelmet lighting in the kitchen. One is about 50w the other 25w. I have a 100w transformer which came with no instruction. It has 2 outputs on the 12v side. See picture. Do I use one of these outputs for each of the strip lights. Or do I use just one of the outputs for both strip lights. Thanks.20191130_071802.jpg

if the total output is 100 watts, then each wire may be only 50 watts. if you have a multimeter or continuity tester you can see if they are parallelled ( as per SC) or separate.

Assuming they are connected in parallel internally (no indication to suggest otherwise), do as you wish. Depends on cable routing I guess.
Yeah. I have continuity between each of the blacks and each of the whites. I think I'll just connect each wire separately to each of the 2 led strips. Thanks all.

On reflection. Just been in the loft. I only have access to one terminal to the plinths near to wear the transformer has to go. There will be another further down the line that splits to both LED strips. So I will just use one the the outputs and terminate the other.

Morning hon, it's pretty nippy out. Not frosty but cold, thankfully it's a stay at home pyjama day doing business paperwork... assuming my phone's 4G connection holds out as we've got no broadband service :(

Just hope it's not like this on Monday as I'm out in a cherry picker installing a bunch of CCTV and security lighting.
