Hi all. i have an issue with my LG 42LG3000 TV. Yesterday I was watching a movie and TV suddenly turned of and there was a strange sound. I have decided to change the fuse(3A) and it happend again after putting a plug into a power socker - again fuse blown. I know that TV was bought around 12 years ago, but I'm just wondering if any of you have had a similar problem, if it's fixible or work repair. Thank you in advance for your oppinion/suggestions.

Check the mains cable carefully for damage first. If that is ok It is likely to be a fault with the TVs power supply. I've had a few bridge rectifiers fail dead short in TVs, as well as the main chopper transistor but these usually blow the internal fuse as well. You don't state your skill level in your post, probably a straightforward repair for a TV repair shop, if you can find one locally!
