Light controlled by 2 switches - right operates light, left only works when right switch on. Wired the same. Brain fart - how to fix?

@Megawatt will know just by looking, but as far as these UK eyes can tell…. Something isn’t in the right place.

😀

At a guess, because I don’t know which is the common terminal from here…. The reds would go in the common at each end, and the blacks are the travellers (pass wires or strappers over here) between switches.

One of those reds will be hot…. Be careful to isolate before working.

Common is the black screw. Have you disconnected the switches and now they don't work or have they suddenly stopped working.

Sorry so late to reply but it sounds like that you possibly have a bad switch on the left since no wires have been crossed up or took loose.
