Hi guys, im trying to work out how many lights to put in a warehouse. The dimensions are 21m x 11m x 6m high.

I need it to be well lit white light?

Has anybody got any calcs for this?

Cheers

Thats some very vague information, you need to put up a layout of racking etc in the warehouse, also what type of use will the warehouse have? Then maybe we can go from there?

You'll need to consider two aspects both emergency lighting and normal usage lighting. Is there no attached office space either?

Hi Ross,CEF and other wholesalers will do a free lighting design for you, depends how quick you want it back. Some will do it on dimensions, type of use etc

Well-lit qood quality light, you're probably looking at Metal Halide but as has already been mentioned, racking layouts etc need to be considered.
Most wholesalers offer a lighting design service, mostly free of charge but you'd need to liase with the client to determine a lux level for the designer to work to.

CEF do a good PL low bay, you can have with daylight, PIR movement sensors, cheap to run too
