If I am running an R2 lead out to the gas or water bond, what is the maximum reading allowed? is it to do with the 50 volt rule?

With out looking in the book i think its 0.05 ohms

That is if your asking max R of bonding!!

Then yes i'm fairly sure its that!!!!!

Also was in formed that the same figure (0.05) is used from connection of bonding clamp at meter to any other point( ie pins on the nearest socket outlet was the exact example used) should also be 0.05 max

So a drum should be somewhere about 0-2 ohms then,
