If your customer is interested in this type of thing, it might be worth looking at including an extended warranty as part of your service. Some manufacturers offer a guarantee on the inverter being working (eg) 98% of the warranty period, and will pay lost FIT and maintenance costs if this does not happen, including sending engineers to site etc.
It is expensive, but on large installs can be worth it.
