I've seen many schematics but need an affirmative on where you place the 'triangle' in schematics. I've seen them between coils and contacts but what is correctamundo...

Is it shown between coils or between contacts?

I'm thinking contacts because thats what its inhibiting movement of. Am I correct?

Thanks// s.f

To be honest I really don’t think there’s definite answer. I’ve worked on gear from all around the world, all drawings were different!
