Aye , but they are smart enough to have a worldwide market they could find a way. They have no trouble getting our serial number; bank card details.

Bank cards are a bad comparison they are universal in their use and follow the same codes of practice in their production and serial coding so you only need one software program to interact with any payment card credit or debit where as a item been sold is limitless in variation in serial codes and ID, they really can only really rely on someone complaining to route out the bad guys as they do at present.... or they would have to have an employee vet every item up for sale and thats not possible on the sales output of such a site, they only real way to monitor sites of this size is to use your customers as in part of the structure to route out rogue sellers and although this means someone has to get ripped off its a self monitoring system thats acts like evolution where the weak links are repeatedly pushed out slowly increasing the reliability of the site.....

Yes, of course you are right , and I understand what you are saying, it is just a bit of a grumble as it irks me that peoples gear that has been stolen can find such an easy outlet

I know what your saying but we all handle stolen/ fake goods every week be the truth of it and if you found out it was fake then you would just pass it on to the next unsuspecting person .... yes the British pound coin 1 in 30 are fake and most ppl would just spend it if told, we all hate thieving scum but in reality we all pedal fake and stolen goods to some extent its just alot of it we are unaware of, the crimes the same its just at a different smaller level :dupe:
