I am now in the progress of a career path change. I want to know what the absolute minimum qualifications are for unlimited scope part ‘P’ registration with is. As far as I can tell its only 17th Edition. I have worked as an electrical engineer in factory environments for the past 10 years The qualifications I have are as follows,
Currently Studying BEng(Hons) Open University with electrical bias
Certificate in further education: Power Electronics, Digital and Analogue Devices, Analytical Methods and Engineering Science
OND Electrical Engineering
City and Guilds Electronic Equipment Servicing College Certificate:
Lots of qualifications in PLC and robotics Programming
C G 16th Edition
I am booked in to take my 17th shortly and a part p course, I have also booked a place on an EAL Inspection and test course. I now have 6 months experience working with a domestic electrician.
Do you think I will meet the minimum requirements?
