very confused. Normally the only thing that sets the ratting of a CU is the main switch. The bars etc are all the same size throughout the range. Change main switch to match DNO fuse, everything correctly rated. The clue to why the 60A switch may have lasted 10 years is because they ARE showwers, ie 5 mins on then off for several hours. No time for heat to build up. Also probably why DNO fuse intact.
How often do low ampage consumer units come directly off Henley blocks with no protection for CU rated below DNO fuse? I would call this pretty common. All load diversity calulations accept that if you put everything on you are overloading the CU. 200% overload on 5 min on 6 hours off probably isnt an issue. CU manufactuer will advise though.

unfortunately tonight I am signing expenses and working out strategy for tomorrow... We have just broken something, a server based somewhere in the world and I have guys trying to fix it. The chance of me having to fix something myself is slim. Hey HO at least im getting paid a sensible rate
